Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data held by JFM Samvaad, a product of JF Media Tech Private Limited, including data we receive when you connect Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.

If you are a JFM Samvaad customer (a business)

Delete specific data yourself

  • Contacts: in Contacts, select the contacts and delete them.
  • Team members: in Team, disable a member to end their access at once.
  • Connected channels and stores: disconnect a WhatsApp number, Facebook Page, Instagram account or Shopify store from its settings page. We stop receiving its data and delete its stored access token.

Delete your whole account

Ask us to close your account and delete its data, using the contact details below, from the account owner's registered email or phone. We confirm the request, then:

  1. disconnect your WhatsApp numbers, Pages and other connected services;
  2. delete your contacts, conversations, media, call recordings, leads and settings within 30 days;
  3. keep only invoices and payment records that Indian tax and company law requires us to keep.

If you connected through Facebook

To remove JFM Samvaad's access to your Facebook or Instagram data:

  1. Open Facebook → Settings and privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
  2. Find JFM Samvaad and select Remove.
  3. Then send us a deletion request as below, so we also delete the data we already received.

If you messaged a business that uses JFM Samvaad

Your messages and details are controlled by that business. Ask the business to delete them; it can do this in JFM Samvaad. If you cannot reach the business, contact us with the business name and your phone number, and we will pass on your request and help it act. To stop messages on WhatsApp, reply STOP or block the number.
